Q: Can I use the X-Change-R to drain and fill my engine's oil?

A: Yes, all of the X-Change-R systems are reversible and can be used to fill, drain and top-off your engine's oil.

Q: What voltage do the X-Change-R system require?

A: Most installations require either 12V or 24V, however 110V/220V systems are also available.

Q: Does the X-Change-R systems come with the parts necessary for its installation?

A: Yes, the system comes complete with the components needed for most installations. These include reinforced 1/2" Type A fuel hose, 1/2" CPVC fill/drain wand, standard brass engine crankcase adapters, stainless steel hose clamps and necessary mounting hardware.

Q: Do I have to wire the X-Change-R to the boat's breaker panel?

A: Although you may want to wire to the breaker panel, all (except 990 110/220V AC) of the X-Change-R systems have built-in fuse holders and can be directly wired to your DC batteries.

Q: Does the X-Change-R come with a warranty?

A: Yes, all X-Change-R products have a one-year, limited factory warranty.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

My pump will not pump or retain prime after operating.

Check to make sure all necessary valves on the X-Change-R system and engines are open.
Check for any air leaks or restrictions in the hoses.
Check the impeller for wear. Replace if necessary. (Make sure to replace with an impeller specifically for the X-Change-R, as other manufacturers impellers may not be the correct size.)

My motor will not start.
