DESCRIPTION
The Model 990DS was designed specifically for large diesel vessels with multiple engines. Particularly, the 990DS was designed to service a vessel's two main diesel engines, each transmission or gear and one or two auxiliary generators. However, the system is capable of servicing any combination of six engines. The oil flow from each main engine is controlled by a separate valve which designates the flow from the engine, its transmission and a designated generator. A discharge valve is also offered to allow the use of new and waste oil reservoirs. The fail-safe patented switch system prevents improper operation and accidents. |

CONSTRUCTION
The 990DS is constructed with the highest quality materials selected for both wear resistance and service life. The 990DS utilizes a heavy-duty reversible bronze body motor and rotary gear pump which has self-lubricating carbon bearings and drip-proof lip seals. Powered by a single phase, 1/3 HP 115V/60(Hz) corrosion resistant motor which is overload protected, the pump is driven directly from the motor shaft by means of a flexible coupling. The motor is controlled by a three pole, double throw switch with FILL-OFF-DRAIN positions. Housed in a heavy duty, 16 gauge steel, Polane coated enclosure, the 990DS' rigid construction will withstand the harshest of marine environments. |

The patented 946D's ability to serve two engines and the genset has made
it our most popular model. Currently, the 946D is factory installed by
more than 25 production and custom boat manufacturers. It is suitable
for gas or diesel applications, and as with all X-Change-R® oil change
systems, it comes with all fittings and hoses. An additional high-powered
system, Model 946 DB, is available, which transfers almost twice as much
oil for use on larger vessels that require longer piping runs. Width:

for the captain who prefers a heavier, more substantial housing for their
engine accessories. The 946DS can be bulkhead or stringer mounted and
utilizes that same high-quality stainless-steel and brass components used
in all of the X-Change-R® models such as the self-priming pump and
patented single valve system. Designed to service three engines, the 946DS
can be used on a traditional twin engine and generator package or it can
service an individual diesel engine, its transmission and an auxiliary
generator.
